《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》從誕生的第一天起，就是一張新型的無(wú)產(chǎn)階級(jí)革命報(bào)紙，是黨和人民的喉舌。無(wú)論戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)年代作為中共中央山東分局、華東局機(jī)關(guān)報(bào)，還是和平建設(shè)時(shí)期和改革開(kāi)放、社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)新時(shí)期作為中共山東省委機(jī)關(guān)報(bào)，它都得到中央領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、上級(jí)黨委的關(guān)懷和支持。1940年1月1日，毛澤東同志為創(chuàng)刊一周年的《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》題詞予以鼓勵(lì)，半個(gè)世紀(jì)后，在《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》喜慶創(chuàng)刊50周年之際，鄧小平同志揮毫題詞祝賀，并為大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社新創(chuàng)辦的子報(bào)《齊魯晚報(bào)》題寫(xiě)報(bào)頭。中共山東省委對(duì)《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》的宣傳和事業(yè)發(fā)展非常關(guān)心，尤其是改革開(kāi)放以來(lái)，歷任省委主要領(lǐng)導(dǎo)或到報(bào)社考察指導(dǎo)，或作批示對(duì)報(bào)社工作給予支持鼓勵(lì)。春風(fēng)春雨含情，催綻繁花滿樹(shù)。中央領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和省委的關(guān)懷與支持，必將激勵(lì)大眾報(bào)人不斷創(chuàng)造更大的業(yè)績(jī)。
《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》從誕生的第一天起，始終堅(jiān)持“黨的立場(chǎng)，群眾的報(bào)紙”的辦報(bào)宗旨，與黨和人民的利益休戚與共。戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)年代，他是催征的鼙鼓；和平建設(shè)時(shí)期，它是指路的大纛。在新的歷史時(shí)期，《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》堅(jiān)持正確輿論導(dǎo)向，堅(jiān)持正面宣傳為主，不斷豐富版面內(nèi)容，提高宣傳藝術(shù)水平，形成了唱好典型宣傳“重頭戲”，忠實(shí)反映大眾心聲，求新、求深、求重、求活，指導(dǎo)性、服務(wù)性、可讀性兼?zhèn)涞霓k報(bào)特色，在全省新聞?shì)浾摯蠛铣屑缲?fù)起“領(lǐng)唱”角色，為宣傳黨的理論、路線、方針、政策，推進(jìn)改革開(kāi)放和現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)，發(fā)揮了重要作用。
《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》從誕生和第一天起，就根植人民大眾，在黨和人民群眾的培養(yǎng)哺育下發(fā)展壯大�！洞蟊娙�?qǐng)?bào)》的發(fā)展壯大，靠的是“全黨辦報(bào)”、“大家辦報(bào)”方針的貫徹，靠的是成千上萬(wàn)通訊員參加報(bào)紙工作，靠的是各級(jí)黨組織支持，靠的是黨和人民革命事業(yè)的勝利發(fā)展。我們永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)忘記沂蒙人民對(duì)報(bào)紙的養(yǎng)育之恩，在那戰(zhàn)火紛飛的艱苦歲月，是他們給了我們衣食之源，一百幾十位鄉(xiāng)親為掩護(hù)報(bào)社人員和印刷器材慘遭敵人殺害。我們永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)忘記，全省人民在各個(gè)歷史時(shí)期的大力支持。銘記歷史，一代代大眾報(bào)人努力使自己的思想、作風(fēng)和工作適應(yīng)黨和人民的需要，跟上時(shí)代前進(jìn)的步伐；銘記歷史，一代代大眾報(bào)人認(rèn)真實(shí)踐著全心全意為為民服務(wù)的宗旨，想人民群眾所想，急人民群眾所急，使報(bào)紙成為宣傳、組織、鼓舞、激勵(lì)、推動(dòng)全省各項(xiàng)工作的戰(zhàn)斗武器，受到山東各級(jí)黨組織和人民群眾的喜愛(ài)。
《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》從誕生的第一天起，就是一片奉獻(xiàn)的陣地。創(chuàng)刊60年來(lái)，先后有兩千多位同志在這里工作和戰(zhàn)斗過(guò)�！洞蟊娙�?qǐng)?bào)》的成長(zhǎng)與壯大，與老一輩黨的新聞工作者的苦心經(jīng)營(yíng)、忘我工作密不可分。是一代代老同志的辛勤勞動(dòng)和創(chuàng)造性工作，使《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》成為一張富有光榮革命傳統(tǒng)的報(bào)紙。在戰(zhàn)火紛飛、艱苦卓絕的戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)年代，大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社先后有530多位優(yōu)秀工作人員，在對(duì)敵斗爭(zhēng)中獻(xiàn)出了寶貴的生命。另有一大批同志，因長(zhǎng)期艱苦生活和緊張工作，積勞成疾，過(guò)早地離開(kāi)了我們�！洞蟊娙�?qǐng)?bào)》的成長(zhǎng)與壯大，是革命先烈用生命和鮮血換來(lái)的。沒(méi)有他們的英勇奮斗和流血犧牲，就沒(méi)有《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》的過(guò)去，更不會(huì)有《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》的今天。他們?yōu)檎胬砗驼x而獻(xiàn)身的革命精神，無(wú)論現(xiàn)在還是將來(lái)，都是大眾報(bào)人取之不盡的財(cái)富和力量源泉，鼓舞和激勵(lì)一代代大眾報(bào)人為黨和人民的新聞事業(yè)奮斗不懈。
《大眾日?qǐng)?bào)》從誕生的第一天起，就是一個(gè)和諧融洽的大家庭，人才輩出的大學(xué)校。從戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)年代到和平建設(shè)、改革開(kāi)放新時(shí)期，報(bào)社事業(yè)發(fā)展了，員工增多了，機(jī)構(gòu)變化了，分工細(xì)致了，但官兵友愛(ài)、互相關(guān)心、互相尊重的社風(fēng)沒(méi)有變。大家從不同的地方走到一起，為共同的理想而奮斗，為共同的事業(yè)而拼搏。注重新聞隊(duì)伍建設(shè)和人才的培養(yǎng)，是大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)。60年來(lái)，大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社為黨和國(guó)家培養(yǎng)和輸送了大批優(yōu)秀干部和專(zhuān)業(yè)人才。他們中有政治家、教育家、文學(xué)家、哲學(xué)家、外交家，也有名編輯、名記者。他們?cè)诟髯缘膷徫簧习l(fā)揮著重要作用�；貞浧饘�(duì)自己的培養(yǎng)，許多同志滿含深情地稱大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社為“我的大學(xué)”。進(jìn)入90年代，報(bào)社不斷深化干部人事制度改革，大批年輕同志脫穎而出，為事業(yè)發(fā)展增添了活力，增強(qiáng)了后勁。
千臂齊奮搖櫓力，風(fēng)正帆懸日千里。改革開(kāi)放以來(lái)，大眾報(bào)人以鄧小平理論為指導(dǎo)，不斷解放思想，深化改革、開(kāi)拓進(jìn)取，報(bào)紙宣傳、經(jīng)營(yíng)管理、思想政治工作“三個(gè)輪子”協(xié)調(diào)運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)，形成擁有“四報(bào)兩刊”，以報(bào)為主、多種經(jīng)營(yíng)、全面發(fā)展的報(bào)業(yè)新格局，報(bào)紙質(zhì)量有較大提高，經(jīng)營(yíng)收入大幅增長(zhǎng)，為“九五”期間實(shí)現(xiàn)一個(gè)較高的事業(yè)發(fā)展新目標(biāo)，奠定了良好的基礎(chǔ)。成績(jī)是巨大的。足以令每一個(gè)大眾報(bào)人感到驕傲和自豪，然而也還只是初步的。面對(duì)世紀(jì)之交的機(jī)遇和挑戰(zhàn)，大眾報(bào)人豪情滿懷，信心百倍。我們將按照黨的十五大確定的戰(zhàn)略部署，以馬列主義、毛澤東思想、鄧小平理論為指導(dǎo)，在以江澤民同志為核心的黨中央和中共山東省委的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，搶抓歷史機(jī)遇，繼續(xù)開(kāi)拓進(jìn)取。歷史將證明，具有光榮傳統(tǒng)的大眾報(bào)人一定能夠繼續(xù)創(chuàng)造出無(wú)愧于前人的輝煌業(yè)績(jī)，開(kāi)創(chuàng)更加美好的未來(lái)！
以建設(shè)山東新聞界跨世紀(jì)形象工程---山東新聞大廈為標(biāo)志，大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社二次創(chuàng)業(yè)活動(dòng)掀起了高潮。全社職工正在社黨委、編委會(huì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，發(fā)揚(yáng)艱苦奮斗、敬業(yè)拼搏、無(wú)私奉獻(xiàn)、開(kāi)拓創(chuàng)新的精神，向著辦一流報(bào)紙，帶一流隊(duì)伍、建一流設(shè)施、創(chuàng)一流實(shí)體，爭(zhēng)取把一個(gè)燦爛的大眾日?qǐng)?bào)社帶入二十一世紀(jì)的目標(biāo)奮進(jìn)。
Glorious History
Dazhong Daily started its publication on January 1,
1939. It was born in face of the beacon-fire and smoke
of gunpowder of Anti-Japanese War, strengthening under
the sunshine, rain and dew of new China, standing out
prominently in the spring tide of reform and opening
up to the outside world.
Going through the trials and hardship journey for
65 years, Dazhong Daily has become the longest
continuously published party newspaper in China. The
65 years' history of Dazhong Daily is combined with
history that Shandong people waging arduous struggle,
building socialism together closely. It is a part of
the epic of Shandong people's revolution and
construction under the leadership of CPC.
The 65 years of Dazhong Daily is the history that
generation after generation start an undertaking in
extremely hard and bitter condition, is the
development history of pioneering and keeping forging
ahead constantly, is the glorious history worthy to be
proud of.
From the first day of its birth, Dazhong Daily is a
new-type revolutionary newspaper of proletariat. It is
the mouthpiece of CPC and Chinese people.
It gets the care and support of the central
authorities leaders, party committee of higher levels,
no matter as the organ of the Shandong Bureau of CPC
Central Committee, East China Bureau during the war
years, or as the organ of CPC Shandong Provincial
Party Committee in peace time, in period of reform and
opening up to the outside world, and socialist
modernization.
On January 1, 1940, comrade Mao Zedong writes
inscription to encourage its first anniversary of
publication. After half a century, when Dazhong Daily
celebrates its 50th anniversary, comrade Deng Xiaoping
writes inscription to congratulate, inscribing the
head of newspaper for the newly established sub
newspaper The Qilu Evening News.
The CPC Shandong Provincial Party committee cares
about the propaganda and cause development of Dazhong
Daily very much. Since the reform and opening up to
the outside world, successive Provincial Party
Committees have either come to the newspaper offices
to inspect, or make comments and instructions for the
work of the newspaper.
The care and support of Central authority's leaders
and Provincial Party Committee will encourage us to
create greater achievement constantly.
From the first day of its birth, Dazhong Daily
insists on the aim of running a newspaper of "the
stand of party, the newspaper of people" all the
time, stands together through thick and thin with the
interests of party and people.
At new historical period, Dazhong Daily adheres to
correct guiding role of the mass media, insisting on
positive propaganda, enriching content of newspaper
constantly, improving artistic level of propagating,
forming the specialty of propagating typical models,
reflecting masses heartfelt wishes truly, looking for
novelty, deepness, heaviness, liveliness, guidance,
service, and readability, and undertake the role of
"leading singer" among news media of the
whole province. Dazhong Daily has played an important
role to propagate the theory, route, guiding principle
and policy of the party, advancing the reform and
opening up to the outside world and modernization
construction.
From the first day of its establishment, Dazhong
Daily implants itself in people, develops and sprouts
under the cultivation of the party and the people.
The development and growth of Dazhong Daily depends
on the guiding principle of "running a newspaper
by the whole party" and "running a newspaper
by everybody", depends on hundreds of
correspondents who work for the newspaper, depends on
support of leading party members' groups at all
levels, depends on the victories of the party and
people's revolutionary cause.
We will never forget to be indebted to Yimeng
people's love and care from childhood of the
newspaper. In wartime, people in Yimeng mountain
region provides clothes and shelter for us; over one
hundred villagers are killed by enemies for sheltering
our staff and printing machines.
We will never forget the energetic support of the
people in each historical period. By engraving history
on our minds, Dazhong people make great efforts to
make their thoughts and work styles to meet the needs
of the party and the people and to keep pace with the
time.
By engraving history on our minds, our journalists
practice for the aim of serving the people
wholeheartedly and conscientiously, think what people
think, worry about what people are worried, making
newspaper become the fight weapon to propagate,
organize, encourage, and drive work of the whole
province. As a result, Dazhong Daily is loved by party
members' groups at all levels and the people in
Shandong.
From the first day of its birth, Dazhong Daily is a
battlefield for dedication.
Over the past 65 years, more than 2,000 comrades work
and fight here successively. The growth and
development of Dazhong Daily is inseparably connected
with the painstaking efforts and hard work of the
older generation.
The hard work of old comrades makes Dazhong Daily
become a newspaper rich in glorious revolutionary
traditions. During the war years, over 530 outstanding
staff members dedicate their valuable lives during the
struggle against the enemy. Many comrades fall sick
from overwork and arduous life, having left us too
early.
The growth and development of Dazhong Daily is
brought to us by the lives and blood of revolutionary
martyrs. Without their brave struggle and sacrifice,
we will not have Dazhong Daily today.
The revolutionary spirit of dedicating for truth
and justice, no matter at now or in future, will be an
abundant wealth and strength source of Dazhong people,
encouraging us to struggle for journalistic course
untiringly.
From the first day of its birth, Dazhong Daily is a
big and harmonious family, a large school to cultivate
talented people. Though the cause has developed, the
staff has increased, the organization has changed, the
work has been divided more specifically, however, and
the spirit of care, friendliness and respect hasn't
changed.
People come together from different places, working
hard for common ideal, striving for common cause.
Dazhong Daily has a fine tradition to pay attention
to the construction of news team and the cultivation
of talents.
Over the past 65 years, it trains and sends a large
quantity of outstanding cadres and qualified personnel
to our country. There are politicians, educationists,
writers, philosophers, diplomats, famous editors and
reporters among them. They are playing important roles
at their posts. A lot of comrades call Dazhong Daily
"my university" with deep affection. Since
1990s, the newspaper office deepens the reform of
personnel system for cadres constantly, a large
quantity of young comrades show their talents,
increase vigor for cause development, strengthen
stamina for future development.
Since the reform and opening up to the outside
world, our journalists regard Deng Xiaoping theory as
guiding policy, emancipating our minds constantly.
Through deepening reform, pioneering and keeping
forging ahead newspaper propagation, ideological and
political work coordinated, Dazhong Daily forms a new
pattern of owing "eight newspapers and two
periodicals", relying mainly on newspapers, and
developing diversified economy. Newspaper quality
improves a lot and income increases greatly,
establishing a good foundation for realizing
relatively high development goal.
Now, Shandong News mansion has become a new image
for Dazhong's New Generation Development program,
focused on thrusting Dazhong Daily forward in the 21st
Century.
The achievement is enormous and is enough to make
every journalist take pride in and be proud of, but it
is also preliminary. History will prove, Dazhong Daily
with glorious tradition can continue to create
brilliant achievement and bright future!
